See my big cheese?! I did it! 13.1 miles done and done *wipes hands* All the training and being hangry all the time was worth this moment. Thank you to all of my friends who supported me and cheered for me from the beginning to end. I am elated to have accomplished such a big goal. It is amazing what our bodies are capable of. Oh what is the strange substance on the jar you ask? It’s fermented cabbage. Tried it out for the 1st time and it isn’t too bad. I have to play with seasonings for the next one. Fermentjng veggies gives it a tangy taste. It’s like making sauerkraut but without the pasteurization. Whyyyy did I do this you ask? #Fermenting is a version of #Probiotics and is a way to help and/or repair the digestive system, helps get rid of candida and helps you prepare veggies in a whole new way! Don’t be scurrrrred. Try it! Chop up some cabbage and carrots, blend a small portion in a blender with water to make a brine then add to the rest in a masor jar.
